Fake ‘inheritance’ scam
My Complaint: Dear Mr. XXXXXX XXXXXXXXX
This is to acknowledge the receipt of your email alongside the required information you sent to me, however as explained to you on my previous email, there are procedures that we will follow before the bank can release the funds in your name and I also need you to assured me that you are going to be transparent in this transaction.
Now that I receive your informations I will start preparing all documentations that will back up your claim and also enter your informations into the bank database as the only beneficiary then we will set Up an alert notifying the claim department of my bank about the dormant account and also instruct them to contact you so that they can release your funds to you.
My position as Manger of the audit department gave me the right and privilege to alert the claim department about any dormant account and also instruct them to abide by the South Africa banking law to avoid lawsuit against them by the beneficiary (which is you)
I will get back to you when all paper work are in place and provide the necessary information you need to know about the deceased.
Thank you and please acknowledge the receipt of this message as soon as possible.
Mr. Henry Johnson
