consumer collections Review

I received a call today from ** at Consumer Collections saying I had a bill from April 2018 in the amount of $385.54 which had been turned over to them for collection. I explained that I never had any unpaid medical bills or notices and had to insist that she give me the name of the facility. She finally relented saying it was ** but refused to give me an address or phone number for them.I started calling my doctors and labs and was advised that it was none of them. I checked everything I can think of. My doctors office advised that for medical collections collection agencies had to provide the info from the source. When I called back for more info a man answered and was very threatening and intimidating promising a legal judgement and huge additional fees if I didn’t pay.I did not pay.I also contacted ** and they said it was a scam.
