Dr. Charles Livingston

One day my wife ordered the LivLean Formula #1 and Omega TG for 90 days online from Dr. Charles Livingston. She paid $322.44 which included shipping and handling charges. She did not receive the order on the date it was emailed to her. She had a proof in her email. A few days later, the product arrived and she started using it from the same day onwards. She followed all the instructions and paid attention to the use of products mentioned in the emails. After one to two weeks, we both started noticing edema in her ankles and legs. It lessened after a few 2 weeks but then it appeared again. We both went to her personal doctor and she took the supplements with her. He took some blood from her to pass a few tests. The results came after a few weeks and the doctor recommended her to stop taking those supplements. My wife decided to write a letter to the company stating that the product did not work for her. A few days later, she called the company to request a refund for our money. It had only been fifty days since she started using the supplements. There were chanced to get out money back because they have mentioned 60 days return policy. She called on the number provided by the company in an email. The recorder stated that she was the first called in the line to be helped. She had to wait in a long queue for more than 28 minutes. Her hard work went in vain when a recorded message played which said: “all representatives are busy, leave your name & number then someone will call you back within 24-hours”.

My wife was completely upset and shocked that she had to leave a message after waiting on hold for so long. She did as instructed and left her name and phone number. We waited for them to return the call but we never received a return phone call. She called them back again in the same week. She left a message at 9 am and at 1 pm and after waiting on hold for more than 25 minutes. When she called back for the third time around 3 pm, she was able to speak to a person after holding for 19 minutes. They clearly stated that they would not return the money because as per the policy 60 days had already passed from the date of purchase. My wife asked the receiver that she wanted to speak to a manager because the product did not specifically mention the purchase date of the product when it was received. She also called last week before the expiry of 60 days plan, but no one answered her call. She had phone records to prove that she was on hold with their company for more than 28 minutes. The manager argued with her and tried to restate the company policy. She said that the company only gives a refund if a customer wants to return products within 60 days from the date of purchase. My wife asked her name and she said it was Whitney. She was the only person named Whitney who worked in the company so she refused to give her last name. Me and my wife believe that this company is a total scam and the supplements they provided her were actually water pills.

My wife’s body is completely in shape and health, it was due to this water pills she had a reaction on her body. She just wanted to improve her health by detoxifying her body, but it has a reverse effect on her. Their website is also fake which wants their customers to be perfectly and completely satisfied and that is why they have provided 60 days money back guarantee. They are fraud and if they want their customers to try for 60 days then they guarantee should not be from the date that a customer orders the product. It should be from the product was received by the customer. They also need to add correct information on the website which can state details clearly and understood by the customer. They should also stand behind their return policy where they promise to refund their money. And lastly, they should have qualified agents available 24/7 to help and guide the customers on call. On my wife’s first call, she waited for 28 minutes and left a message. She called right back and pressed option 1 for purchase instead of 2 for order inquiry. An agent came on the line and told her to proceed her order. My wife explained everything to her but she couldn’t do anything to help her because that lady was from a different department. This company is a scam that only wants to take money from their clients quickly but takes time to respond when it comes to returning the money. This company is hiding behind so-called loopholes. We lost our money and we don’t want you to lose yours. They are ripping off customers. If I had taken the time to research about the company after watching a video then I would never have ordered their pathetic product in the first place.
