Dr. George John Bitar MD

My friend suffered a lot at the hands of Dr. George John Bitar

My friend had a horrendous experience at the hands of Dr. George Bitar. My friend wanted a tummy tuck and the procedure cost more than $6, 000. The doctor recommended narcotic pain medication for a period of 8 months post the surgery instead of paying heed to the pain faced by my friend. What’s more, after facing severe pain, when my friend visited another surgeon, the first thing he asked was the duration for which my friend was suffering from hernia. This was shocking! Dr. Bitar simply missed the umbilical hernia for a period of months! The incisions were closed with topical medicines however and another operation was conducted for the hernia.

My friend also took a long time to come out of the addiction to the vicodin and percocet that were prescribed in big quantities by Dr. George Bitar. This entire episode has left my friend physically and mentally damaged. Other doctors have asked my friend to report Dr. Bitar immediately to the Board of Medicine. In fact, my friend paid money for a tummy tuck and not for hernia. There was no attempt by the doctor to take care of my friend or undo the damage. This is what happens when doctors are negligent and uncaring about patients. This guy has fallen into trouble earlier with his slippery ways. You can refer here for the Bitar. Vs. Rahman lawsuit. This was a case of medical malpractice where the doctor did not provide a full medical opinion or take authorization from the patient who suffered since she was unaware and did not give her objections at the right time.

Wafa Rahman had an abdominoplasty procedure conducted or a tummy tuck at the hands of Dr. George John Bitar back in March 2003. Before the procedure, the doctor made pre-operative markings on the patient’s abdomen as a preparatory move for the surgery. Those markings were reportedly reference points or guidelines for the surgery. After the surgery, the doctor noted that the incision was healing suitably. However, due to medical malpractices, Rahman suffered from a wound that did not heal until 9 months post surgery. She suffered several complications due to medical negligence including swellings, scars, mutilation and so on. She alleged negligence against the doctor in treating her as a result. When I take this into account, I strongly feel that people like Dr. George John Bitar should be boycotted and suspended immediately before they cause any more damage to the lives of patients.
