PC-Take Care Review

Internet pop up ads came up on my computer directing me to call a number for support to get help and avoid getting viruses on my computer. I called the number and was directed by a "Mike Johnson". He had me share my computer screen with him and told me I would have to pay hundreds of dollars over paypal to purchase a security program. I asked him to disconnect from my screen and we hung up. Then, he started typing in my search bar and opened my FaceTime camera. I called apple support and they told me that he was a scam and helped get the viruses off of my computer that he started to install. Then, I called him back to tell him I reported them and asked them why they do this to people and he laughed at me, called me names, and told me that if I didn’t hang up he was going to hack into my network and steal all of my information.
