AT Peepers Optical Absolutely horrible service!!! I went in to have an annual exam for both contacts and glasses done. My experience with this business began with the doctor running 45 minutes behind. The optometrist and office for that matter has ancient equipment which was rather surprising considering how much this store charges. The doctor who had full access to my old charts not only said I do not have a astigmatism, (I’ve had it in both eyes since age 6, when I started wearing glasses), the pair of contacts I received back were so bad, I couldn’t see.
This was not too surprising considering she spent a whopping 10 minutes conducting the exam and around 30 making small talk. When I came back in a week later to be re-examined, she once again flew through the appointment and I to my surprise, ended up with yet another pair of fuzzy contacts. This round had been so far in the opposite direction, I now got headaches when I wore them.
Nearly a week after this atrocious experience, I became very I’ll and underwent multiple hospital stays and a surgery. Long story short, thinking about correcting my eye prescription was not top priority. Recently, I spoke with a gentleman who accommodates their appointments and I asked him if I could now be re-checked and for my examination to be corrected.
He not only told me I would most definitely be re-charged, I would also have to pay full rip as my eye insurance covers an examination once a year. Apparently after 30 days, everything has to be re-done. I will never ever ever ever do business with this snooty, overpriced joke of a “doctors” office. Buyer’s beware, these people should not be in business. My next letter will be to the Better Business Bureau.
