Penumbra/TPI Staffing Review

I was contacted by TPI Staffing about an admin assistant position. The job would be a work from home type job making $28/hour. I’ve put my application in a lot of places so while I couldn’t remember applying for this particular position I wasn’t too concerned. All communication was done via Google Hangout and he told me to keep the app open. I started to get a little worried about the legitimacy of the opportunity because it sounded too good to be true. I called TPI staffing and gave them the name of the guy who contacted me, Scott Michelle, who they said has never worked for them. They said I was the 3rd caller who had asked about this and told me it was a scam. I called Penumbra too and gave them the name Patrick Henry. Penumbra said I was the 6th caller and this guy is doing it all across the states.
