Reader Services Imposter Review

They called me on 12/28/18 telling me my CC would be charged $79.99 at midnight if I didn’t take advantage of their promotion. I got worried and called the only magazine I have subscribed to in the last five years. The publication, FamilyHandyman, said they make no such calls and it’s a scam. I didn’t give any info but the caller did already have my name and address. The next day 12/29/18, the same number called, a different person, telling me the same thing. This time I informed them I already spoke to the publication. I demanded to speak with a supervisor and she hung up. I continued to call back in succession and they repeatedly hung up.When someone answered again they recognized my name and said they needed to talk with a supervisor. She put me on a short hold and said they’d cancel what they called for.IT IS A SCAM.
