Scammer claiming to be from Scanlon Physical Therapy Review

My college student daughter was given two bad checks for deposit and then to use a cash app to sent money to a person Samuel Taye. These checks were promised for her to receive the material, she is pursuing college for physical therapy. The checks showed the name of this company and address. I received copies from the bank.
