While I was visiting a retail web site-a pop-up came up and said since we were a special customer they have a few offer for us for just paying for the shipping. I picked a watch – shipping cost of $5.99 – no other charge was mentioned. A couple weeks later I received the watch which was ok for $5.99 but not worth more than that – There was nothing telling me they were charging my account an additional charge of $97.89. I thought nothing more about it until I received another watch. I thought that was odd so I called and that is when I found out I was on a reoccurring watch shipment. I said absolutely not —- I want to send both watches back and wanted credit for both. They said I could send the recent one back but I had to keep the first one at the $97.89 amount – there is only a two week window to make returns. This is not right – but they refused to hear my case. They said I was sent an e-mail stating the charge, but I probably deleted it without even looking at it since it was not an e-mail address I recognized.
