Shelby Baptist Medical Center

My trip to the er was because I have been having severe headaches for over a month. They are like no other headaches I have had. Dr. Washington basically accused me of being there wanting pain meds. I told her that I didn’t want her meds I just wanted to figure out why my head is hurting. After being there for over 6 hours I told them I wanted to go home. The next day my pcp ordered an mri. The MRI showed that I have fluid on my brain and optic nerve. I had to get a different kind of MRI (MRV) and a spinal tap.
Dr. Washington is one of the most uncompassionate doctors that I have ever met. I work in an doctors office and we would never treat anyone the way she did me. I plan on complaining to the head of the hospital. This is my life that she did not care about at all.
