My boyfriend went onto the Sole Hoodies website to buy me a NFL "Salute to Service" sweatshirt. These are nice, Nike dry-fit sweatshirts that usually go for about $80 give or take. On the website, he found a picture of the authentic sweatshirt for a deal of about $65. He ordered it, and selected the 2-day shipping option so that I would be able to wear it to playoff games. The item arrived about 15 days later in packing with characters from an Asian country. I opened the package and the item inside was a low-quality knockoff sweatshirt with obvious differences from that of the picture advertised on the website. The knockoff has has illegitimate NFL and Nike logos sewn on. The material and the stitching is poor in quality. I inquired about a refund immediately by emailing [email protected] They tried to settle on a partial refund, and I said that wouldn’t do. They said to receive a full refund, I would have to pay to ship it back to their warehouse in Asia and said they would not claim responsibility for the package if it gets lost, meaning I would have to send it certified to confirm that the scammers actually received it. Their address online is reported to be in Iowa, but the company appears to be in Thailand. I threatened to report them if they did not give me a full refund, so they asked me to donate the item and send them a donation receipt for a full refund.
