I have no idea who Yesinia is, but that is the name that rings in my head. She was so unprofessional that I became really upset and actually offended. I do however feel like Dr. Horsely is a great ophthalmologist, but that call center staff has unforgivably bad service. Over the last 2weeks I’ve been diagnosed with glaucoma. I have acute angle-closure.
It is no laughing matter. I landed in the emergency room this past Sunday with left eye pressure of 39 and right eye pressure of 42, in which new meds were prescribed immediately that Dr. Horsely needs to know about due to violent glaucoma attack Iendured on the 5th of May. Dr. Horsley had me on Lumigan and then latanaprost.
The ER doctors took me off of both and put me on Brimonidine, timolol, dorzolamide, and acetazolamide. I knew it was imperative to contact Dr. Horsley’s office in order to inform them of the situation and new meds. So, I did immediately contact them, however, because I was hung up on THREE times at least, I lost contact with the only polite, mature lady to answer the phone. She put me on hold because she works at the Maryvale location and was trying to transfer over to the Scottsdale location.
As soon as this unprofessional Yesinia answers the phone, she hangs up. I call THREE more times and NO SUCCESS!! This so called call center that connects calls to appropriate departments, sucks!! Horsley is a good guy but his call center staff is a joke, especially Yesinia!! Please look at her production more closely, as she has certainly caused me to go to another ophthalmologist. She has a bad affect and effect on your practice. The problem isn’t the doctors, or the check-in staff, IT’S THE CALL CENTER!
My father has glaucoma and he has referred me to his opthalmologist. Some places accept specific insurance, and I will have no problem finding out which insurance to buy in order to get FAIR TREATMENT!!
