We agreed to go to a one hour presentation in exchange for a voucher for free flights (2) and 3-day cruise. We sat through our hour (read 1.5-2 hour because they held the travel vouchers hostage) presentation. Then they made it incredibly difficult to follow through to claim a cruise. Had to do it in parts over several weeks/months AND you have to pay upfront the hundred(s) of dollars in tax. They ask you to select three possible dates for the trip and will not tell you until appx 45 days before the cruise which of the three you have been "awarded." We noticed they never notified us, so we called them. They told us none of the dates were available – even though they are supposed to be guaranteed – unless we paid for "upgrades" of hundreds of dollars per person. AND they told us we would have to fly in early and pay for the related expenses ourselves. That is, if the cruise ever happens without the expensive upgrades (and without the upgrades they threaten you with a room of bunkbeds, after ensuring you are a married couple) They clearly have no intention of honoring the free vacation voucher and would not let us speak to a supervisor when we asked. We were in fact told the supervisor was unavailable and would not let us hold for an available supervisor. It is clear they don’t think anyone will jump through all the hoops to actually receive their free vacation…. I will say we have not lost money YET, but I am not sure how hard it will be to get back our initial deposit.
