I called what I thought was Netflix support (googled a number on line) & the person said that someone was accessing my computer, phone, ipad etc. and they had taken the Firewall down on my computer. That I needed a professional Cisco certified tech to clean it all up & they could put me in touch with a company that could do that…"Tech Base Help Inc."….. They seemed like they were the real deal and said their work was warrantied and I could purchase their help for a year, 3,5 or lifetime for various prices. They wanted payment by check through my bank, with a routing number etc. All of this took place 5 days ago & as of now they have not yet taken any money from my checking. I still felt uneasy about the whole thing & called my bank, an Apple Tech, Netflix (the real number) and a computer tech at work. I changed all my passwords…. but am afraid they my still be viewing everything I do on my computer etc.
