The Best Awards Review

This is a fraudulent organization that gives faux awards to local businesses recognizing "their ability to use various marketing methods to grow their business in spite of difficult economic times". The scam is to sell you an award for nearly $150 or more. It seems very legitimate: having a full site with questions and answers, a ‘nominate’ section, giving a phone number and including a free press release to post in your place of business.Apparently this scam has been used for years around the country, but it is now in Evanston.

Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from The Best Awards Review. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.

Never trust websites which offer a shady ‘advocacy package’ to businesses. Search for relevant reviews on Ripoff Report and Pissed Consumer to see more unbiased reviews.
