The RTC Group Inc Review

I received a text message from a "John Welsh" stating: Our firm, The RTC GROUP INC. has an opening for Customer Service Administrative Assistant, Data Entry position. This will be a full time or part time job with a starting pay of $26.11 per hour. Are you interested? When I ask how he came to offer me the position, he said my resume was posted on Activehire.com. Given the fact that I had at one time place my resume online with Indeed.com, I figured it could be plausible. Next text gave the company’s apparent office headquarters address located in San Clemente, CA. This is strictly online and work from home job the working hours are flexible… pay is $25 per hour training is $15 per hour and pay weekly via check or direct deposit working 30 to 40hrs weekly, are you interested? "John Welsh" proceeded to direct my to Google Hangouts to connect with the Hiring Manager online for the job briefing. I became more suspicious when "John" showed no regard for the fact that he/she was contacting me in the middle of our State of Emergency (Hurricane Lane), and proceeded to insist that I contact the hrmanager on google hangouts at [email protected] When I asked what the hrmanager’s name was he said: "Kent Lane". Classic!Anyway, the google hangouts interview will be via chat – declines video conference invites. A History is given regarding The RTC Group, Basic Duties are Listed, Basic Interview Questions are asked, at the end they ask for the name of your bank (stating that an employee would need a checking account). At the end "Kent Lane" said I needed to log back on at 9am my time for my interview results. Lo and behold the next day I was accepted into The RTC Group and they wanted me to start immediately. "Kent" deflected my questions… Says paperwork would need to be mailed to me and asked the following: Full Name, Current Home Address, and Email Address. Says to enable his secretary to enlist them into the Company’s Register for proper documentation. At this point, I figured we had both wasted enough of each other’s time and I recommended that he/she put the same energy into positive endeavors and stop leaching off unsuspecting individuals.
