My wife and I were outside when a newer blue pickup with 3 Hispanic males drove up. The could see that my driveway was badly cracked and uneven. They said they did driveway repair by applying a concrete/latex mix that when applied it would rise to about 1" thick, filling all cracks and leveling out to a smooth finish. They said they could give me a special deal for $850. I initially told them I was not interested but they pointed out how badly I needed it and how good it would look. All the red flags were there and I knew it but they were smooth talkers and had a come back for the many times I said no and of course coming down to the "ridiculous one time price of $700" . I had been thinking about doing something with the driveway so I fell for their scam. The next morning, It turned out that it did not rise at all, did not level out anything and looked terrible. It appeared to be mortar sand mixed with gray latex paint and rubbed right off with my foot and rinsed away with my garden hose. BEWARE!!!!! My normal response to these types is simply to tell them "not interested" this time they caught me at a vulnerable moment. Never again!!!
