Scammer, Travelscapes LLC, claimed to acquire our contact info and our prior purchase of a timeshare from Vallarta Gardens in Mexico, which is also a fraudulent contractor. Scammer presented an offer to buy our Mexico timeshare at a price well above our purchase cost. The offer is only valid for a 10-day period and requires us as the seller to deposit into Escrow 8% of the sale price. The scammer has David Fisher call to discuss the offer and admits there will be added fees the seller must pay, but that they will be reimbursable at closing. The offer is adjusted upwards at our request to reflect added elements of our original purchase agreement. Travelscapes LLC now offers to make a guaranteed purchase of our Mexico timeshare for $58k, which is $24k higher than our purchase price. All we need to do is trust them that our deposit and fees will be reimbursed at the close of escrow.
