I made a purchase from this company in November for a "free" trial offer where I only had to pay for shipping. I received my order and was only charged for the shipping. In December they charged my credit card again for a full order minus the shipping I had already paid for ($79.98) which I never asked for and never received. In January 2018 they charged me for another full order plus shipping ($89.90) and sent me another shipment. I never asked for it and I wasn’t expecting it. At that point, I didn’t even realize they had charged my credit card in December and January. But when I received the shipment this week I looked an saw both charges.I called the merchant to request a refund, but I was told that it was a recurring subscription that I had 2 weeks to cancel and hadn’t. I had absolutely no knowledge of any recurring subscription or deadline to cancel. They told me they wouldn’t refund me but they would cancel any additional shipments.I called my credit card company to dispute the charges, but they told me that since I had canceled AFTER the second and third shipments, there was nothing they could do. They encouraged me to call the merchant back to request a refund and threaten to report them to the BBB, so I did. They offered to give me a 30% refund and I declined. So they offered to give me a 50% refund and I told them I wanted 100%. They offered to give me 75% and I accepted. It was better than nothing, but I still wanted to report the situation.
