The number 877-326-3660 called me. I missed the call. Called back, in case it was an important agency. It was TSG. I asked the rep to repeat what he said it stood for, and he rudely and loudly said T as in Tom, S as in Sally, and G as in GOOD GOD. I got upset, got loud with him in return and asked how the heck they got my information. He proceeds to tell me that I must have forgot that I signed up for a vacation package 3 years ago and that it’s my fault for forgetting and to stop screaming at him. I tried to deescalate by lowering my voice and asking to talk to a supervisor. He continued to talk over me and then hung up on me. I called back, and it was a lady who before I could say anything already knew who I was and said hello this is xxxxx I’m a supervisor with TSG how can I help you? I told her about her rude employee and that I’d like to know how they got my information. She said she would talk to the employee and then said I must have forgot I signed up for a vacation package. I told her very plainly, I did not sign up for any package with them or anyone. She proceeded to hang up. I called a third time. Different lady. But she answered as a "customer service representative." Before I could say anything again, she asked me if I wanted to close my account. I said I’d love to and I’d also like to know how you got my name and number. She said the same thing, that I must have forgot that I signed up for a package. When I said (sternly) that I did not sign up for anything again, before I finished she cut me off and said in a rude manner well you have yourself a wonderful day and hung up on me. I called a 4th time, from a family member’s number, to "play along" to see if I could calmly get them to tell me how they collect info. The second lady I talked to answered and asked if I had a missed call from their number, I answered calmly yes I did. She then proceeded to ask me if I forgot that I signed up for a vacation package 3 years ago. I said as a matter of fact I did forget. She mumbled something, I asked her to come again or repeat herself, and she then hung up on me. I called a 5th time, calling anonymously from my phone. It was the same lady with customer service. I asked who is this because I had a missed call from this number. She asked me for my phone number so she could look me up. I told her that I did not want to give her my number because they should already have it, seeing as how they were the ones who called me. The lady then said she can’t answer any questions or tell me anything because she didn’t know who I was. I said it doesn’t matter, I had a missed call from you guys and I would like to know who was calling me. She reiterated the same thing over and over very angrily, that she can’t give me any information because I didn’t give her any and she can’t pull up my account. She hung up on me as well. I did call the number a couple times after talking the customer service rep, and the "supervisor" answered both times and hung up, once after saying oh it’s you again and then the second time said ok I’m reporting you to the police stop harassing us and immediately hung up before I could say anything.This company is a major scam. I’m not sure how they got my name and number, but they were extremely rude, wouldn’t tell me anything about how they got my information, and then threatened me with police when I tried to continue to find out how they got my information. Very upsetting.
