Turtle Creek Review

This "company" calls you relentlessly, at least once a day but sometimes more, saying that you owe a debt and will be charged with possession of stolen merchandise if you do not pay it. I set up a plan to pay $50 every two weeks. I also asked for documentation every time I talked to them and they always said they would send an email but never did. Right before the 4th payment, I had to cancel my card for other reasons. They started calling again. When asked for written proof of this account again, I only received it once I said I wasn’t going to pay a dime until I had proof of who my money was going to. When they finally agreed, they will only email it to you (not send a physical copy) and it is not very businesslike. I received and email containing only a link. No signature or information on where the email came from like most businesses send (no name, phone number, fax number, address, etc) just the link. You have to click on the link, put in your last 4 of your social and it pulls up an invoice. Now the invoice all looks legit, but at the top it says I owe a specific amount, then if you look at the payment plan set up, they are charging me an extra $100 but no explanation why. They are rude on the phone and very unprofessional, even more so than most collection agencies.Looking at the email now, they sent it on Monday, August 21, and now today, Friday, August 25, if you click on the link it says that it is expired and you can no longer pull up the account information.

Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from Turtle Creek Review. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
