We paid $450 for a Corgi dog. Then received an email from Pet Air Carriers (for shipping) wanting $1,260 for pet insurance that was supposedly refundable on receipt of the dog. We contacted Alyson Cogan of Twist Pembrook Corgi’s and she offered to pay $300 of the insurance cost but we would have to pay her back. The invoice was suspicious because in one section we could pay the shipping company all the money and in a another section we could make payments to the seller. Another clue was our phone number listed on the Pet Air Carriers invoice was totally incorrect even tho we were receiving text messages from them. We tried calling the phone numbers listed on the invoice and the phone number they were texting us from but nobody answered and there was no answering service. Today the dog is still up for adoption on the website.
