I would rate this with zero stars if I could…I originally contact this company on April 12, met with a rep on April 13th, made a 50% deposit for my job by EMT that day and was told the window would be cut within three days, and installation would take place shortly after. The rep informed me he would be on vacation starting April 19 until April 22 and the job would be done right after if not before this. When I hadn’t heard anything by the 26th, I followed up myself. I was told he was busy catching up, but I would here back as to an installation timeline later that day. The next day I contacted them again having still not heard anything. At this point I was told the glass wasn’t in, but should be by April 30th, and I should still expect a wait after that for installation as he was still catching up. I then asked for a definite date for installation. I was told Friday May 4th, if not absolutely over that weekend. I asked to receive confirmation the glass was in fact in when it arrived. After not hearing anything on the 30th, I contacted them on May 1st for this confirmation the glass was in and we were still good to go for installation at the end of that week. I did not hear back all day, and reached out AGAIN that night. The following day I contacted them again having still received no communication. Wednesday May 2nd I told the company I wanted my deposit back as, at this point as I stated in my communication, I assumed the glass was STILL not in since I hadn’t been told any different. I was then told the glass "should" be in, and they would "aim" to install by end of week. I then again asked for confirmation as to if the glass was or was not in, and didn’t here back AGAIN!!! The next day, on Thursday, I asked if my window was going to be installed the next day as I was told it would be, and again, DID NOT HEAR BACK! The next day (Friday May 4th, a full 22 days after sending a deposit of $350) I told them I expected a refund of my deposit as my job was not only not completed, and, I hadn’t even been told if the glass was or was not in after asking for clear confirmation on SEVERAL occasions. I wrote again in the later afternoon. I received a message saying they had requested I get a refund. Monday, this week, May 8th, I had not heard anything. I wrote back again for an update, did not hear back. I have now left several messages with their direct line and their call services line asking to have a manager call me, explaining I was calling for my refund. It is now 27 days after I made payment in good faith for services I was told would be completed weeks ago, and can’t even get hold of a manager to even discuss my refund. I absolutely WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS with this company. They are unprofessional, unresponsive, and should not be able to operate a business. I will be filling with the BBB and even taking further action since at this point the principle of it all even bothers me. As a person who has managed a small business before, worked years in a customer service role, and believes people are only as good as their word, I would say this company is an absolute scam…a sentiment clearly shared by many people.
